Assam Rifles Exams
Every year Assam Rifles conducts the Assam Rifles Exam to recruit individuals for a number of different positions as discussed-above. Eligibility Criteria for Assam Rifles Exam
The following are the different eligibility criteria that the candidate is required to meet to appear for the Assam Rifles exam.
- Educational Qualification – You must have cleared 12th standard or HSC from one of the many recognized universities in Assam.
- Nationality – You must have a domicile of Assam and must also be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Age Limit – You must be in the age group of 18 to 25 years to become eligible for the Assam Rifles Exam.
These are the three eligibility criteria that you are required to fulfill to appear for the written and medical test of the Assam Rifles Exam.
Assam Rifles Recruitment Selection Process
The selection process of the Assam Rifles includes a number of different steps. These various stages of the selection process of the Assam Rifles exam include physical standard test, physical efficiency test, written test, trade test, medical and review medical test, and merit list. These are the different stages that the candidate is required to undergo to join Assam Rifles. Being said that, only if your name appears on the merit list, then you can join Assam Rifles in your chosen trade with the paramilitary force.
In the first phase of the selection process, the candidates are required to undergo a physical standard test and physical efficiency test. Once you clear the physical standard test and physical efficiency test, then you can appear for the written test conducted by the Assam Rifles. However, if you do not clear the physical standard test and physical efficiency test, then you cannot appear for the written test.
Along with the written test, you might also have to appear for a trade test, depending upon the trade you are willing to join with the Assam Rifles. In the third phase of the Assam Rifles Exam, you will have to appear for the medical test. Once you clear the written test and the trade test, you can appear for the medical test. Assam Rifles Written Exam Pattern
For clearing the written test, it is important that you are aware of the Assam Rifles exam pattern. Therefore, in the section below, we have described the written exam pattern of the Assam Rifles exam.
The written exam of the Assam Rifles consists of four different sections. These include general knowledge, quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and general English. Each of these four sections in the Assam Rifles exam consists of equal distribution of marks.
For instance, the general knowledge section consists of 25 marks, the quantitative aptitude section consists of 25 marks, the logical reasoning section consists of 25 marks, and the general English section consists of 25 marks as well. Moreover, each one of these sections will consist of 25 questions each in the written exam paper. Therefore, ensure that you prepare accordingly and give equal weightage to each section duration of your exam preparation.
Being said that, the written exam paper of the Assam Rifles exam is of multiple-choice questions. You get a total of 1 hour or 60 minutes to solve 100 questions of 1 mark each. Thus, making it a 100 marks written paper.
