Eligibility criteria and requirement
Candidates must be Indian nationals and permanent residents (domicile) of West Bengal. As of 30th July 2025, the age of applicants must be between 18 to 26 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and PwBD candidates as per Government of India guidelines.
Education
Graduate Apprentice applicants must hold a full-time four-year degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Electronics & Communication) from an AICTE-recognized institution. Diploma Apprentice applicants must have completed a full-time three-year Diploma in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Electronics & Telecom). ITI Trade Apprentice candidates must have an NCVT certificate in the relevant trade such as Electrical, Electronics & Mechanics, or COPA, awarded by the Directorate General of Training.
